WHAT IS KHATA EXTRACT?
Khata Extract is all about getting the details from the assessment register. The extract is mostly required to buy a particular property or to get a trade license. WHEN IS KHATA CERTIFICATE AND KHATA EXTRACT REQUIRED?

What are the documents need to be attached with the application of Khata Certificate and Extract?
All documents that prove the ownership of the property like sale deed, land alienation order (e.g. conversion order, older khata extract from Village Panchayat or CMC)
Tax payment receipts for tax paid to local panchayat office or CMC.
Proof of residence such as electricity bill, water bill, copy of passport, ration card, pan card, voter ID, driving license, etc.

For Extract, you have to pay the application fee that is around is Rs. 100/- per extract for a period of 5 years.
Application must be submitted to the Assistant officer for sub-division or range.
